A: Safety Advocates are people who work within the Australian commercial seafood industry willing to join a network and share experiences. Safety Advocates help make our community safer. More information is available here.

A: Our Peer to Peer Safety page is a hub of safety information on a wide variety of topics – from Man Overboard, to Safety Management Systems, and even Mental Health.

Q: How can I report a safety incident?

A: Incidents should be reported to AMSA within 72 hours of becoming aware of the incident. For more information, visit AMSA Incident Reporting.

Q: How can I report a safety concern?

A: Safety concerns are any events that may endanger the safety of vessels or persons – but have not yet caused an incident. Safety concerns can be reported to AMSA here.
